Walnut bark have been used as powerful mouth cleansers for centuries in North Africa to whiten and strengthen teeth and heal the gum. The organic or wild essential oils we use for our toothpastes have a powerful synergistic action.
If you’re surprised by the taste of the toothpaste at the first use – salted and no foam – you will be amazed to see how, after a few weeks of mild brushing with this tooth & gum paste, your teeth get whiter, your gums look healthier, and you can get rid of bad breath and slows the build-up of tartar. It can help in case of tooth sensitivity or gum pain. The high concentration of walnut bark, whitening ingredient, makes it particularly suitable for people whose teeth are easily tinted (nicotine, spices, coffee …).
Use a small amount on your toothbrush because the product is very concentrated and softly brush your teeth for about 3 min. It is suggested to also brush your tongue. Rinse minimally.
Since the toothpaste does not contain any anti-desiccant agents (anti dryness agents), it is recommended for you to tightly close the jar to avoid the drying up of the clay. If you need to, feel free to add some pure water.
We deliberately chose a jar instead of toothpaste tube for maximum use of the toothpaste and to allow you to add pure water if needed.

Well, after doing a great deal of research regarding toothpaste and all the ingredients that go in it, even those that claimed to be “all natural” and organic (i.e. – no fluoride), they had other things that I didn’t want. With my wife now pregnant, I’m going to some extremes by throwing some big change at something so simple as toothpaste. However, it seems to be worth it.
From our first use, I personally noticed a huge difference. I’m used to products such as Arm and Hammer and Colgate, with which I normally have to spend an extended period of time removing that gritty film on my teeth, normally in a manner that is too harsh. However, with just a gentle and small application of this toothpaste, my teeth feel incredibly awesome. With a few quick strokes, that alone removes more than any toothpaste ever has. There is absolutely no grime/grit left even where the gum meets the tooth.
As for flavor, I think the peppermint needs some work. I originally intended it for my wife, but it simply ended up much too herbal and earthy tasting for her (she was gagging), so it ended up being mine. I don’t mind it at all, but I understand why she didn’t like it. There wasn’t nearly enough peppermint to cover up the stronger herbal taste. But again, I actually have always been into my spices and herbs, so I’m entirely content.
The cinnamon I feel is spot on. Way to go on this one. She likes it much better than the peppermint, but she’s not too fond of cinnamon (who knew anyone could not like cinnamon!?). This means I’m now using hers and she is using mine! I don’t foresee a change in your recipe any time soon regarding the peppermint, but update us if you do!
Lastly, I was a little shocked by the size of the container. It was much smaller than I expected. I just didn’t have the size pictured in my head when I read it, so that is obviously on me. It’s not really a complaint, but more of a general comment. Would you be able to give a sense of scale on the pictures, maybe with something as simple as a jar on a hand? J’ai dû subir sous anesthésie locale, un détartrage en profondeur pour soigner et désinfecter mes gencives. J’ai, alors utilisé le dentifrice à l’argile et cannelle. Deux mois, après le traitement chez le spécialiste, et après utilisation, tous les matins du dentifrice, le parodontologue a diagnostiqué une excellente amélioration de l’état de mes gencives. Bonjour
On vous a diagnostiqué une parodontie ! Votre dentiste vous recommande un protocole d’hygiène buccale strict : soie dentaire, waterpik, brossette, brossage électrique, 3 fois par jour mais avec une pâte à dent à base de bicarbonate de soude diluée avec du peroxyl et, au final, de vous rincer la bouche avec du paroex (chlorexidine). Conserver le protocole d’hygiène mais adopter uniquement la pâte à dent à l’argile d’Arganat. Les résultats : après 3 jours d’utilisation plus de saignement, plus de mauvaise haleine. À mon 3 ième nettoyage ( soit 1 année après les traitements) : des gencives impeccables, plus de saignement, pas de nouvelles poches de pus, plus de mauvaise haleine. Conclusion, la pâte à dent à l’argile élimine les bactéries pathogènes sans perturber le microbiote buccal et ainsi contrôle l’évolution de la parodontie qui à terme peut entraîner la perte des dents et même plusieurs maladies graves causées par ces bactéries qui atteignent les organes via la circulation sanguine. Comme je tiens à conserver ma dentition le plus longtemps possible, je n’utiliserai plus d’autre produit pour nettoyer mes dents et mes gencives que la pâte à dent à l’argile d’Arganat.
